Let me please say that I'm not trying to accuse any artist of copying Aaliyah (because they are not), but I'm just pointing the similarities I see sometimes watching other artist.
Aaliyah has been a very influential singer and star in the world of music. Funny how such a short career can make such an impact. I was surprised myself, at the seeing the heavy resemblence of Aaliyah in alot of artist. Rihanna, CHerish Ciara, Tyra B, Amerie, Keisha Shante, Tweet etc. Mya and Brandy even took some notes, though they do have their own swagger.
I made this video to show the what I'm saying. No this isn't one of those sad tributes or diss comparisons (I respect all of the artist here). This is strictly paying homeage to the young star. We are celebrating the Aaliyah's impact on the R&b world.
