today this song has taken on a more personal meaning for me concerning violence against women after what has just happened to me... moments after recording it.
i sang for 10 minutes today (2 attempts) and then some man kept knocking on my door and wouldn't stop... when i opened the door this neighbor in my building was screaming at me... and he forced his way into my apartment and then HIT me really hard on my face.
it was 3:15 in the afternoon!!!
i intended to give it a few more singing tries today... but obviously that's not possible anymore .. for now this is it .. but i know i could do it better.
the situation makes it harder for me to sing now. welcome to my real life!
anyway, i hope u enjoy the song...
UPDATE Jan 24: thank you all so much for support and ur kind words ... i have gone to the police now .. and they are handling it .. i'm feeling much better today ..
