Description: Film producer George Stevens paired Montgomery Clift and Elizabeth Taylor together in the classic, "A Place in The Sun", which was said to have been the most tragic, yet passionate love story of the decade. It was filmed in 1949 (released two years later) when Elizabeth Taylor was 17 years old. Elizabeth had just ended her second engagement and fell madly in love with Montgomery Clift. Of course, he felt the same about her but a romance was not in the cards. At a time when being gay could destroy careers, Montgomery Clift had to hide his homosexuality from the world. But not from Elizabeth Taylor. What did develop between them was the greatest friendship two people could have. Two people who intuitively understood each other. Elizabeth remained his best friend until his 1966 death. Montgomery was gifted beyond belief. His chemistry with Elizabeth was mesmerizing. Again, instead of posting endless parts 1, 2, 3, 4, (of these great films) please view the movie in its entirety to obtain the best possible experience. All of Elizabeth Taylor's films are meant to be viewed in their entirety. Your eyes will find it impossible to stray from her screen appearance for never more than a few seconds before returning to watching the master skill that she easily possesses. Montgomery was also a tortured soul, as well. As was Van Gogh, this world was never meant for one as beautiful as he was. It was Elizabeth's kindness and compassion towards him that would draw her to the hearts of AIDS patient's decades later. She knew how to reach out to Montgomery. She saved his life for as long as she could. Now, she is still saving lives with compassion and empathy. Montgomery was a fine teacher. Please donate if you can!

Description: In editing the films of Dame Elizabeth Taylor to view (here) on YouTube, I now see what George Stevens, John Huston, Joseph Mankiewicz, Richard Brooks, Edward Dmytryk and countless other directors and cinematographers see regarding the acting skills and talent of Dame Elizabeth. She calls herself an instinctual actress, and without the benefit of dialogue, the emotions that pour out of her are amazing. Without the luxury of words, I see (with only the slightest hint of facial movements) her emotions range from black to white, then back to black. No doubt that she and the excellent Montgomery Clift raised each other up personally and professionally. It is easy to see how they completed each other. He gave her acting, and she gave him unconditional love for the rest of his short life. What wonderful gifts. What wonderful friends. What wonderful soulmates. Montgomery belonged in the modern world of today whereas Elizabeth Taylor is timeless. Catch 'Raintree County' for the acting techniques of Montgomery and Elizabeth, alone. Again, it will be a treat. And in doing so, remember to donate if you can. Elizabeth Taylor gave herself as an actress as she gives herself as an AIDS Activist: totally and selflessly. The world would be a much sadder place without her, no matter how seldom that she is now seen in public.

Description: The friendship between Dame Elizabeth Taylor and Michael Jackson began in 1985. Just as Elizabeth was obtaining the foundation to tackle HIV/AIDS discrimination in America...she met Michael Jackson. Their common bond has been working since they were very young children, thus, being robbed of a childhood but now they, no doubt, love each other very much. It is a very special, private relationship... not to be discussed or picked apart by those who know no better. In my eyes, Michael is a special man, vindicated from horrendous accusations and....as a fan, I intuitively believe that he will make the biggest comebacks in the history of show business. It is in the stars. Dame Elizabeth's attachment to complex, multi-dimensional people goes back to 1949 when her friendship with Montgomery Clift began. Monty was a tormented soul. She always knew the strength that was needed to maintain balance in this entertainment industry and has always possessed it herself. Her need for HIV/AIDS fundraising does not stem from wanting to feel important or prove anything to the world. It comes from her heart and soul. It comes from experiencing such loss that has encompassed her for two decades now. In the most egotistical, self-serving business that exists today, she gives of herself freely choosing to ignore all of that other superfluous stuff. Please donate if you can.

Description: The Rebels. Dame Elizabeth Taylor knew and loved these men. She knew that they possessed great talent and stood out in the crowds. She worked professionally with these men and personally, she was a trusted friend. One such rebel, Rock Hudson, lived and died with AIDS about the same time Elizabeth was involving her fund raising services herself. Between Bill and Melinda Gates, Sir Elton John and Dame Elizabeth, over one billion dollars has been raised to fight this disease that is still killing thousands of people. The press may not depict it as much but it still is happening. If you enjoy my work, please donate and help save a life.

Description: Elizabeth Taylor did not go to a conventional high school. She was schooled at MGMs Little Red Schoolhouse and her high school years were from 1946 to 1950. School wasnt an eight hour a day chore. Three hours were spent in school and three hours were spent on the movie set. Early on, her social life was uncomplicated and a bit lonely. At 14, she met Marshall Thompson, who gave her first kiss on Christmas Eve 1946. She developed a crush on both Peter Lawford (1947) and Robert Stack (1947). She was engaged to be engaged to Army Lieutenant Glenn Davis (1948). As he went to Korea, she had a letter out to him every night. But when she met 27 year old William Pawley, poor Glenn was no more. Elizabeth announced her first engagement in June 1949. She was 17 years old. When William wanted her to give up her career for him, the romance ended. She fell in love with Montgomery Clift in the autumn of 1949, but he was gay. They developed a lifelong friendship. Next, she dated singer, Vic Damone before meeting, Nicky Hilton, who would become her first husband. She graduated from high school in January 1950, a month before she announced her second engagement.
In viewing these short film clips, please donate to the cause that has become Dame Elizabeth Taylors life mission for over two decades. The eradication of AIDS in the world. Until such time, The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation funds programs and organization that give direct care to the population of millions affected with HIV/AIDSwhether it is direct care or related/ associated services. So many people are now living longer with AIDS/HIV due to advances in viral medication technology, but the impact of living a life with AIDS is far reaching. AIDS affects all of us, in one way or another. Generations of young people are not conscious of the 1980s. The face of AIDS has changed since the time when those who were ill were visibly stigmatized, akin to being lepers. Now, those with HIV/AIDS live life among the general population attempting to cope with the disease. Sometimes, silently. Emotionally, the impact is just the same as those first diagnosed. Fear. The only solution is to rid the world of this disease, therefore opening a technological highway aimed to ignite the remedy to so many other diseases as well.
Any amount of time or money will push this development ahead, not behindnever behind!

Description: 'Bessie Mae' was the nickname the late great Montgomery Clift gave Elizabeth in 1949. She was 17 and for him, she would always be Bessie Mae. In this clip, Dame Elizabeth Taylor gives us five decades of sheer beauty. Not only does she grace us with her beauty, she is the savior of millions of AIDS patients around the world. Her endless work in AIDS has become her life's work. Like her jewelry, she possesses the golden touch and this does not go unnoticed by me, or the entire world. And where ever she goes, there is always the love.

 | Elizabeth Taylor - "Reflections in a Golden Eye"
Tags: AIDS, Bassett, beautiful, Bill, Bono, Brando, Burton, California, Christopher, cinema, Contracts, Creator, Dame, diamonds, Eddie, Elizabeth, Elton, Eye, Family, Fathers, films, Fisher, Fortensky, Francis, Gates, Golden, Hilton, HIV, Hollywood, Howard, Hudson, Jackson, jewelry, John, Larry, Liz, Liza, Maria, Marlon, marriages, Melinda, MGM, Michael, Mike, Mothers, movie, Nicky, nonprofit, Oprah, perfume, Reflections, Research, Richard, Rock, Sarah, Sharon, Sir, Sons, star, Stone, Studio, Taylor, Todd, Warner, Wilding, Winfrey, Yanni
Description: Dame Elizabeth Taylor agreed to do, "Reflections in a Golden Eye" (1967) with Montgomery Clift being her co-star. His career, as well as his personal life, was spiraling downward in the early 1960's. Due to drug and alcohol abuse, he was deemed uninsurable and was unable to secure film work. Elizabeth was ready to cover his insurance fee of one million dollars in order for Montgomery to make the film. Unfortunately, three months before film was to begin, Montgomery Clift died of a heart attack, at the age of 45, in 1966. Elizabeth could barely accept it. He was closer to her than a brother. She and Richard flower arrangement sais, "Rest in Peace, Perturbed Soul". Marlon Brando took the role that was slated for Monty. The odd story was that of closet homosexuality, adulterous affairs and very complex characters development. It certainly is worth seeing. Elizabeth was excellent in her over the top wife of a homosexual army major. Actually, Marlon and Elizabeth got on famously together....despite what the press was saying about an all out feud. Please remember to donate and allow others to see this and it is my hope that everyone is able to see all of Elizabeth's sixty films....each magical in their own way, earning her five Academy Award nominations, and three Academy Awards. Of her films, she always states, "I wasn't that bad, was I". Absolutely not, Dame Elizabeth, absolutely, empirically not.
