Nederlandse documentaire over de fascinerende wereld van de dance waarin ID&T eigenaar Duncan Stutterheim zijn dromen waarmaakt.
Duncan Stutterheim, mede-oprichter van ID&T, wordt door een tomeloze ambitie gedreven zijn dromen waar te maken. De wereld waarin hij met zijn vrienden leeft wordt bepaald door hedonisme en ambitie enerzijds en de zoektocht naar zingeving en geborgenheid anderzijds. Een beklemmende tegenstelling waarbinnen hij zijn weg moet zien te vinden.
'God Is My DJ' is een Nederlandse documentaire van Carin Goeijers over Duncan Stutterheim, eigenaar van ID&T - genoemd naar de oprichters Ifran, Duncan en Theo. Duncan startte op zijn achttiende een klein koeriersbedrijfje en begon een jaar later met zijn broer en zakenparner Miles gabberhousefeesten te organiseren. Dat bedrijf is inmiddels uitgegroeid tot ID&T, dat onder meer een platenlabel, een horecaonderneming en een mediabedrijf is. Maar de successen kregen ook hun keerzijde toen Miles verongelukte. Daarnaast is Duncan vader geworden en moet hij zijn wilde leven zien te combineren met de verantwoordelijkheid voor zijn twee dochters.
