----
A millionaire lookin' for another million dollars
A poor man lookin' for one
A chainstore owner lookin' for another store
A hungry man lookin' for a hamburger bone
(Chorus)
Get it get it get it yeah
Get get get get get ooh get it get it get it
Get a piece of the rock
A rock star lookin' for another million seller
The DJ say you can't have none
Now go on and play your disco music
I got to rock 'n roll myself all night long
(Chorus)
Give me a piece of luck
Give me some peace of mind
Give me a piece of yours
Now take a piece of mine
Get it get it get it
Get a piece of rock
Get it get it get it
Get a piece of rock
Get it
Mary had a little lamb
With feet just as white as snow
Everywhere that Mary went
You know the lamb should 'a go go

 | Mother's Finest - "Love Changes"
Tags: 70s, classic, Finest, hits, Joyce, Kennedy, Mother's, R&B, soul
Description: This is one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite (and extremely underrated, if you ask me) groups. It's also my first stab at a slide show. So if it looks cheesy, blame it on my inexperience.

"Love Changes"
Written by Skip Scarborough
Ooh...ooh...ooh...ooh...hey, hey, hey, hey...yea...
Oh...oh...oh...oh...oh...oh...oh...ooh...oh...oh...
You stay awake half the night
Love is just a perfect chance
It must be love that's on your mind
You're doin' things you wouldn't before, oh...
Love will make you oh, so happy
Inside, ha, ha, ha (Ha...ha...ha...)
Love will make you oh, so sad
Make you cry, ha, ha, ha
Oh...changes
That's what love makes you do, hoo...
Changes
That's what love makes one do
Oh...oh...oh...oh...
Uh, ooh...
Wonder if it's real this time
Or just another half-goodbye
You walk around starry eyed
Can't believe that love would hurt again, oh...love
Love (Love) will (Will) make (Make) you (You) oh, so happy (Oh, so happy)
Inside (Inside), ha, ha, ha (Ha...ha...ha...ha...)
Love (Will) will (Make) make (You) you oh, so sad (Oh, so sad)
Make you cry (Make you cry), ha, ha, ha (Oh, yes, it will)
Changes
That's what love makes you do, hoo...
Changes
Oh, what love makes one do
Love will make you oh, so happy
Inside (Inside), ha, ha, ha (Ha...ha...ha..oh, ha...)
Love will make you oh, so sad (Oh...oh...)
Make you cry (Oh, ooh, make you cry), ha, ha, ha (Ooh, make you cry)
(Love) Love (Will) will (Make) make (You) you oh, so happy
Inside (Inside), ha, ha, ha (Oh...oh...yeah...)
Love (Love) will (Will) make you (Make you) oh, so sad (Oh, so sad)
Make you cry (Ooh, yes, it will), ha, ha, ha (Ooh, yes, it will)
(If you've ever been in love you know what I mean)
Love (Love) will (Will) make (Make you) you oh, so happy (Oh, so happy)

Description: Live at Rockpalast (Germany)
Georgia funk rock band Mother's Finest might appear to be only a blip on the radar screen of rock history, but not to any of the headlining bands they've stolen shows from -- or any of the audiences who saw it happen. Following in the footsteps of the racially-mixed Sly & the Family Stone, Mother's Finest blended white guitarist Moses Mo and drummer B.B. "Queen" Borden with black vocalists Joyce Kennedy and Glenn Murdock, bassist Wyzard, and keyboardist Mike, for its 1976 self-titled debut album. Tracks like "Rain" and the slightly controversial "Niggazz Can't Sing Rock & Roll" made enough of a ripple to get the band out of Georgia clubs and into regional touring. The follow-up album Another Mother Further lived up to its title. The opening track was a cover of the Holland-Dozier-Holland songwriting team's "Mickey's Monkey," made popular by Smokey Robinson. But the guitar riff was a blatant copy of Jimmy Page's from the Led Zeppelin song "Custard Pie," released two years earlier. Perhaps because the song was a cover, or the fact that they stole from blues legends early in their career, Led Zeppelin never sued and the track (along with others like "Piece of the Rock" and "Hard Rock Lover") helped make Another Mother Further the group's springboard.
