Description: ARCOS DE BUENOS AIRES TANGO SHOW
www.arcostangoshow.com
Directed by violinist and conductor Walter Oscar Tejeda Carranza, this show is a real palette of RÌo de la Plata rhythms -tangos, milongas, waltzes-, tunes and dances. The orchestra and ballet on stage will recreate the Porteño elite's way of living, from the 1930s or 1940s to the present. The show is worthy of Arcos de Buenos Aires Tango Show's talent, thanks to which Argentine music has reached the levels of the best chamber music in the world.

 | Adam Aston - Zatańczmy jeszcze ten raz, 1936
Tags: 1930s, Adam, Aston, Berlin, Dance, Face, Irving, Let's, Music, nostalgia, piosenka, przedwojenna, Warsaw, Warszawa
Description: In pre-war Warsaw Adam Aston (Adolf Loewensohn) recorded hundreds or maybe thousands of sides for various labels (Syrena-Electro, Odeon, Columbia) and sung in a few movies (a couple of them can be found in You Tube). During WWII he survived in a Russian ocuppation zone in South-East Poland, to join later the Polish Emigree Army in the West. After the war he never returned to Poland, living in South Africa and in London, where he died in 1993. His outstanding voice, dim, strong and vibrating in nostalgy and in passion, somewhat resembles the certain passages in Joseph Schmidt's performances - although Aston never sung anything but the popular "schlagers".
Irving Berlin's "Let's Face The Music And Dance" (in Polish: "Zatańczmy jeszcze ten raz")is perhaps one of Top Ten Hits of the XX Century. Composed for the movie "Follow the Fleet" was first perfomed by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
This recording was made for Syrena-Electro in 1936. Aston is accompanied by Syrena Record Dance Orchestra.

Description: videoclip Nelly Furtado - Força (Extesizer Remix)
(From Folklore Album)
Unofficial Extesizer HandsUp Remix (bootleg version / fast version)
Força - Lyrics:
It is the passion flowing right on through your veins
And it's the feeling that you're oh so glad you came
It is the moment you remember you're alive
It is the air you breathe, the element, the fire
It is that flower that you took the time to smell
It is the power that you know you got as well
It is the fear inside that you can overcome
This is the orchestra, the rhythm and the drum
Com uma forca, com uma forca
Com uma forca que ninguem pode parar
Com uma forca, com uma forca
Com uma fome que ninguem pode matar
It is the soundtrack of your ever-flowing life
It is the wind beneath your feet that makes you fly
It is the beautiful game that you choose to play
When you step out into the world to start your day
You show your face and take it in and scream and pray
You're gonna win it for yourself and us today
It is the gold, the green, the yellow and the grey
The red and sweat and tears, the love you go. Hey!
Com uma forca, com uma forca
Com uma forca que ninguem pode parar
Com uma forca, com uma forca
Com uma fome que ninguem pode matar
Closer to the sky, closer, way up high, closer to the sky
Com uma forca, com uma forca
Com uma forca que ninguem pode parar
Com uma forca, com uma forca
Com uma fome que ninguem pode matar
